Community Shred Event

Looking to get rid of your confidential documents in a secure way? SRU Federal Credit Union will be hosting a FREE Community Shred Event with on-site shredding services from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, April 19th. We are asking for supply or monetary donations to benefit the Grove City Area Pet Rescue for each box of shredding that you bring. There will be a free easter egg hunt for children 12 and under at 11 am and other activities and events for the whole family. For more information, email cust.service@srufcu.org

Braised Steak Dinner at Fredonia Presbyterian Church

Epiphany of the Lord Parish "Catholics Returning Home" Series Begins

The Epiphany of the Lord Parish in Meadville is conducting a free series of informal listening sessions, titled “Catholics Returning Home,” on six consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning April 23, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St., Meadville. The series is an invitation to Catholics who have been away to renew their relationship with the Catholic Church. These listening sessions will be conducted in a support-group format, with updates on the Catholic faith. Former returned Catholics or converts will facilitate the evenings. Everyone is welcome. Steppin' Up for Kids at the Children's Advocacy Center

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Lawrence County, Inc. comes together annually in April for Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Steppin’ Up for Kids event from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, April 24 serves as a community-focused initiative designed to raise awareness about the impact of child abuse and the importance of prevention efforts. During Child Abuse Prevention Month, these events aim to educate the public, engage families, and inspire action to protect children. We will be having food trucks, face painting, balloon animals, and more at the event!! We hope to see you all there!

Oil City Uncorked
