Conneaut School District will hold Kindergarten Registration at Conneaut Lake Elementary on Wednesday, March 19th from 8am-2:15pm and 4pm-6pm and at Conneaut Valley Elementary on Tuesday, March 25th from 8am-2:15pm and 4pm-6pm. Prospective students must be age 5 prior to August 1, 2025 to enroll for the 2025-2026 school year. Full day kindergarten is in place at both elementary schools. Parent(s)/guardian(s) must be present to provide: (1) the child’s original birth certificate (not a hospital certificate), (2) records of immunizations, (3) proof of residency, and, if applicable, (4) custody papers. Children entering school must have been immunized for the following: Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (DTP) – 4 doses – fourth dose must be after the 4th birthday; Polio – 4 doses; MMR – 2 doses; Hepatitis B – 3 doses; and 2 doses of varicella (Chicken Pox) or provide the date and age of the child when he/she had the disease. The new kindergarten student should also be present at the time of registration. MarchWAES Drive Up and Drop Off Shoe Event

WAES PTO is hosting a no cost Shoe Drive to collect new and gently used shoes of any size or style to raise money for student enrichment programing. Drop boxes will be placed throughout the community that will be open for donations from now until May 2nd, as well as, several scheduled drop off events.
